The Krenn is all about offering guests a cosy atmosphere and a nice get-together that leads to shared enjoyment. And anyone who wants to can now stay in this enchanting place for longer. In the guest house, which also houses the charming Greisslerei (traditional small shop), or in one of the spacious flats in the residence.
The Gasthaus Krenn has been part of Pürgg since the 14th century and has embodied Lived hospitality for just as long. During the day, guests enjoy home-style cooking in a relaxed atmosphere, while in the evening the inn is transformed into a traditional restaurant.
Old wood, genuine farmhouse linen and many other details contribute to the charming atmosphere. Here it is simply “giving time to time”, to stay, to meet people.

As always, everything was perfect.
The breakfast was, as always, excellent. I also found it very considerate and accommodating that the Krenn team asked in advance if we wanted to participate in the jazz evening at the guesthouse. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.Mojca

A beautiful and exclusive little hotel and guesthouse Krenn in the charming village of Purgg.
Purgg is a beautiful, well-preserved village, and Hotel Krenn is an original old village building where you can relax and enjoy the beauty. Everything is high-quality, charming, lovely, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of cozy spots to sit and unwind. The guesthouse, which belongs to the hotel, is just as delightful, and we enjoyed an excellent meal in its historic atmosphere. I especially have to compliment the floral arrangements—fresh bouquets are everywhere, delighting the eye and the spirit. Truly something special! Gästhaus Krenn is a gem! The location is so beautiful and charming. We felt welcomed from the start and got a complimentary upgrade to their apartment number 3 in the Residence. The apartment had the most amazing views of any accommodation we stayed in. Great views overlooking the region, mountains and the castle. We ate at the restaurant and wanted to go back again but it was fully booked. The breakfast was delivered to us and it had variety of local bread, cheese, jams etc. The staff kindness and friendliness are unmatched. We really loved our time there and we wish we could’ve stayed longer.Pei

Everything! We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious with well equipped kitchen. View from balcony is just breathtaking. They are very detailed in all aspects. Breakfast served is great, amazing fresh and tasty organic food.Zuzana

Excellent services and strong attention to all desires of the guests. Very beautiful and cosy appartments and the whole house. High quality of materials, furniture etc. used in the rooms. Very spacious rooms. Exellent breakfast with very special concept (no ordinary buffet selection). High quality of food and drinks served at breakfast and also in the near Krenn restaurant. We did appreciated much a room service for the first warm drink served after wake-up and still before the breakfast - great idea!!! The house offers also a room service.Preview Photos
